Daily Post Synthesis #1

OLD: I was given 30 cases to work with. I had to fill out the IMS sheet for all 15 cases. After I completed that, I did some filing for some folders. The filing was easy, I had to put the folders in order by their charge number. After i did some analysis for 2 cases (Summary of what the case is about)

OLD: I also did make several folders for cases. I stapled the Routing Sheet on the front of the folder. I stapled Attorneys letter inside. I had to make sure there were 5 copies and 1 original inside the folders. After I was done, I had to fill out the IMS Sheet for the folders I made.


NEW: I was given a case to work on. And my mentor said that she was going to send a copy to the Charging Party/ people who were requesting it. She told me to Redacte things like; Social Secruity number, Adressses, Phone Numbers, and anything personal of the people involved. So this was kind of a project for me, I am still working on it. I Had to take a sticky note, cover up the part where information that was not going to be distributed to either parties. After posting the sticky note, I had to make another copy of the Redacted paper that can be given to the people resquesting. I am still not done with it because there is soo many papers to be Redacted.


NEW: This day was different because I had to make a Filing system where the Charging Numbers had to be in a particular order. I started with 2006' Cases and put those in order by looking at their last 5 numbers (i.e 520-2006-01350 then 520-2006-01351....)
It was a long assignment but I finally got it done.
