I been working with many things lately. In my internship, i been working with almost 50 cases. I have to read them and fill out a form called IMS FORM. Its a form in which you mark the issues and allegations after you read a case. What the Charging Party (Person who files a case) is talking about, the issues and what kind of discrimination they faced from the Respondent (people the Charging Party (Cp) is filing against). And trust me its not easy, some cases are 30-40 pages (back and front) and others are 15-25. Its was very challenging at first but I got use to it. There were many words that I didnt know so i wasnt sure if I should mark it ( Ex. Demotion, Retaliation etc..). I will share a case with you which I am not allowed to, oh well. This lady files a case because her boss is sexualy harassing her and retaliating against her. It is a fun experience because I get to learn about other peoples lives. Also some cases are really stupid and dumb. They dont make sense and have many spelling mistakes. Whenever I or my mentor sees a case like this we share the laughter. It is very fun.
